Rosie has extensive experience in climate action project management and planning, urban design and architecture, operating nationally and internationally delivering large scale projects impacting on city and regional economic development. She develops strategic programmes of work to enable compact, climate neutral urban development and community revitalisation. She is a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and registered architect in the state of Illinois. Prior to her role in public service, Rosie worked in private practice in London, Chicago and Dublin where she worked on projects ranging in scale from housing to civic offices, to museums and stadium. As part of the Sustainability Team in TU Dublin, Rosie develops the strategic framework for the development of the University’s campuses in line with the national and European legislative requirements and the University ambitions to decarbonise. She is also responsible for identifying ‘Living Lab’ opportunities to accelerate the climate action targets.
