Meet the Team

Melody Chinenyanga serves as the EDI Lead for Race Equity at TU Dublin, where she is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all members of the university community. With a focus on healing from racial trauma and creating racial relational harmony, Melody works to support individuals with lived experiences of racial trauma, equipping them with the skills to heal, navigate microaggressions, and thrive in academic and professional settings.

 

Melody has developed and facilitates the Unity in Diversity Workshop, an impactful initiative for staff and students that promotes mutual understanding, equity, and inclusion. As Chairperson of the University of Sanctuary Steering Group, she advances initiatives that support refugees and asylum seekers within the university. Additionally, Melody is an active member of the Race Equity Community of Practice (CoP), collaborating on strategies to combat systemic racism and promote equity across higher education.
