Connecting people, policy, and practices in Irish Higher Education.
Now in its fourth year, this annual seminar series – hosted by Learning, Teaching & Assessment (LTA) at TU Dublin – invites key HE policymakers and organisations to discuss their work and to share their perspectives on broader trends and currents in education policy.
Previously known as ‘enabling policy’, this year’s series has taken on a new name (‘HE Policy Engagements’) to reflect a thematic focus on the importance of:
- Engaging diverse stakeholders as collaborators in the development of sound, evidence-based policy solutions
- Providing convening opportunities for our broader higher education communities, including learners and external stakeholders, to connect and interact with policymakers.
This year, we plan to schedule six HE Policy Engagements on Tuesdays between Feb 6th and March 19th with a blend of online, hybrid, and in-person engagement. These talks also form part of our innovative Higher Education Policy Postgraduate CPD module, which will run from early February.
