Dr. Larry McNutt

Larry was the Registrar at the Blanchardstown campus to 2021 and has since retired. Larry has over 35 years’ experience in the Higher Education both in Ireland and in Australia, with 15 years at Senior Management as the Head of School of Informatics & Engineering. He has held academic positions in Southern Cross University Australia, Letterkenny IT, DCU and Capella University, USA. Larry is a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society, a board member of AHEAD, and is a member of NSAI Technical Committee. His research interests include distance education, educational technology, instructional design, and universal design for learning. He is a reviewer for The MERLOT Journal of Online Learning and Teaching, Computers in Human Behaviour, and the All Ireland Journal of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. He is a member of Steering Committee for International Conference on Engaging Pedagogy and Co-Chair of the Ireland-Canada Higher Education in Transformation Symposium.
