There is no need for students to download Respondus Lockdown Browser in order to take a Brightspace quiz in a lab on campus. Lockdown Browser has already been installed on all PCs in all labs.
In Brightspsace, once you click to start the quiz, Lockdown Browser will automatically open and display the quiz for you. Once you submit the quiz, Lockdown Browser will close and you will be returned in Brightspace within your chosen browser.
If for some reason Lockdown Browser did not open for you once you clicked to start the quiz in Brightspace, please let your lecturer know. They can log a call with Technology Services to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Students are not being encouraged to install Respondus Lockdown Browser on personal devices. If, for whatever reason, you must use your personal device instead of a university owned one during a quiz on campus, please tell your lecturer and they can contact the Digital Education Manager for advice and direction.
