N-TUTORR Funded Infrastructure for HyFlex Delivery
The following infrastructure to support HyFlex delivery across TU Dublin was funded under the Stream 3 Digital Ecosystems – Work Package 3.2 Digital Campus strand of the N-TUTORR project. The work was led by Cormac Allen the N-TUTORR TU Dublin Digital Campus Lead, supported by Technology Services and the Digital Education Manager, Academic Affairs.
Project 1: HyFlex Room Fit-out

- 21 rooms to by fitted out across 4 campuses
- Commencement of work: May 2024
- All works to be complete: August 2024
- Training to be provided by the Digital Skills Coach: September 2024

Project 2: Mobile HyFlex
|
- 50 mobile kits to be issue to staff in June following a comprehensive application and evaluation process
- 2 kits for trainers
- Kits consist of a MS Surface Pro tablet and a Panasonic IT360 Camera and Speakerphone
- The participating 50 staff will join the HyFlex CoP, engage in training, and contribute case studies at a Digital Systems event in December 2024
90 applications were received for 50 Mobile Hyflex kits. The kits will be distributed across faculties as outlined below.
