Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) is a service from Microsoft that protects users from malicious threats posed by email messages, links (URLs) and collaboration tools. IT Services enabled ATP to protect the University from malicious email attacks, such as the WannaCry or Petya ransomware attacks which spread globally. These protections will reduce the likelihood that members of TU dublin will become the victims of similar exploits in the future.
