Welcome to the Student Experience Transformation (SET) Project Homepage
TU Dublin has embarked on an exciting and strategic programme to transform the student and staff experience and provide an enriched student-centric experience. Central to this transformation is the development of a new unified Student Record Management System (SRMS – more commonly referred to as ‘Banner’) that will underpin and enable the University Education Model that is in development. The timeline for the full delivery of this programme of work is September 2025, reflecting the scale and complexity of what is required.
The first critical milestone will be reached this July when the current SRMS systems in Tallaght and Blanchardstown campuses will be upgraded to a version of Banner 9 (but not the final proposed solution for the unified SRMS). In addition to lessening our reliance on unsupported software running on outmoded hardware, it will provide us with a fresh, visually appealing interface that will run on modern web browsers and mobile devices. It will also support Single Sign-On (SSO) meaning your existing TU Dublin Office 365 (email) username and password details will allow Banner users to login more easily and securely.
The City campus SRMS is not being upgraded at this time but will undergo a separate risk mitigation exercise to reduce the risk of hardware failure.
