Would you like to attain a qualification in Irish? Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge (TEG) provides a series of general Irish language proficiency examinations and qualifications for adult learners of Irish. TEG exams give candidates an opportunity to show their ability in speaking, listening, reading and writing Irish at different levels, from absolute beginner to intermediate and advanced levels. If you wish to sit a TEG examination and receive accreditation, you must register with and pay the Centre for Irish Language in Maynooth University. We advise that you fill out the TU Dublin TEG Fee Application Form below before registering with the Centre for Irish Language in Maynooth University and we will assess your application.

 

If your application is approved, Oifig na Gaeilge will reimburse TU Dublin staff and students once supporting proof of registration, payment, and completion of exam is emailed to Oifig na Gaeilge at gaeilge@tudublin.ie. Reimbursement will be made through CORE Expenses in the case of TU Dublin staff and Electronic Funds Transfer for TU Dublin students.
