Taster Workshops

Taster Workshops

Taster workshops are opportunities for school students to visit our campuses, meet lecturers and current TU Dublin students, find out what’s involved in courses and the careers it can lead to. They facilitate prospective students to experience what it’s like to be a college student, recognise that many college courses have a practical, hands-on element and discover the vast range of subjects on offer in TU Dublin. These workshops increase participants’ knowledge and attendance can help them when they are making important choices about their future.

Academic departments work with us to provide a range of workshops such as DNA and Forensics, Electrical Engineering, Fashion Management, Architecture, Community Development and Youth Work, Languages etc. Workshops take place on all TU Dublin campuses throughout the academic year.

We are also delighted to collaborate with South Dublin County Partnership to deliver Inspiring the Future events on our Tallaght, Blanchardstown and Grangegorman campuses. These sessions focus on interactive STEM activities that supports students to consider their future and think about STEM careers.

PATH 3 welcomes students from our partner schools and really appreciates the contribution that our academic colleagues make to these taster workshops.
