IMMERSE Summer Start-up Internships Programme 

Learn on a paid summer internship while achieving a CPD Certificate in Start-up Internship

Have you completed year 3 or your degree or completed the first two terms of your postgraduate course in TU Dublin? Thinking of starting up a business, or curious how a start-up company works? If so, check out the IMMERSE start-up summer internship programme, an opportunity to work with, and learn from, great start-up companies. To apply, check the list of available internships below and submit your application before the closing date, 29 April 2024 12noon. 

What is IMMERSE?

An IMMERSE internship provides you with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, while learning directly from entrepreneurs on a day-to-day basis. It enhances your CV and experience for when you graduate and enter the job market. Participating enterprises include new and early-stage enterprises that have been established through the TU Dublin and Guinness Enterprise Centre enterprise incubation initiatives.

Once you successfully complete the internship you will receive a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Certificate in Start-up Internship (level 8).

3. I am an International Student, can I apply?

Yes you can, subject to holding your Stamp 2 Visa.

The Stamp 2 indicates permission to study a full-time course on the official Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP) for a specified period, subject to conditions. Under current visa regulations, students in possession of a Stamp 2 visa are entitled to work 20 hours per week during term time and up to 40 hours per week from the 15th December till the 15th January and between June and September.
